Ongoing Text Fraud – A hacker is currently targeting ATFCU members with a fake text titled ATFCU FRAUD ALERT. The text comes from various 800 numbers, not from a 325 area code. If you respond, he states that he is with the credit union Fraud Department and has given his name as Matthew or Terry (and likely several others). He “proves” he is with ATFCU by quoting your Social Security number. Do not have a conversation with this person and immediately contact our Fraud Team at 325-677-2274 if you have already done so. Learn more.
