In Our Community
Abilene is our home and always will be. We want to see Abilene and the people living here do well. Credit unions subscribe to the motto of ‘people helping people’ and that’s what we do at ATFCU.

Boys and Girls Club of Abilene
Since 2004, ATFCU has supported the Boys and Girls Clubs of Abilene with our holiday Skip-A-Payment program. 100% of the fees collected are donated to The Boys and Girls Clubs of Abilene to assist their valuable work with Abilene's children. In the last decade, $1.6 million has been contributed to help the four local clubs provide a positive place for kids to grow.

Big Country March of Dimes
For the past several years, Abilene Teachers FCU has worked closely with the Big Country March of Dimes in their mission to decrease the number of premature births. Their research and programs touch the life of every child born in the United States.
ATFCU served as the lead sponsor during MOD’s 75th anniversary in 2013. Thanks to member and staff support we were able to raise a total of $103,000, the largest single gift ever presented to the local March of Dimes organization.
The work continues. On a corporate level, the credit union board has elected to donate a penny for every ATFCU debit card transaction made by our members since the beginning of 2013. Each spring you will find our staff conducting a variety of fundraising efforts.
Abilene Teachers FCU provides significant support to the education foundations of both Abilene and Wylie ISD's. We also sponsor numerous Project Graduations and stock shows throughout the Big Country, as well as athletic teams, performing arts groups, booster clubs and special events.
