What accounts can I use to pay bills?
Bills can be paid from any checking account on which you are either a primary or joint owner. For each payment scheduled, you will be presented with a drop down menu of eligible accounts. Choose the one you wish to use. We urge you to pay attention to this step as the default account may not be your primary checking account.
How long will it take for a bill to be paid?
In normal circumstances, bills paid electronically will be received by the payee in two business days. For bills that are paid by check, allow five business days.
How do I know if a particular bill is paid electronically or by check?
Navigate to the main bill payment page to access a list of your payees. Click on the payee in question and the word 'History' will appear below their name. Click on 'History' to obtain a payment history. On the results page, look for the column titled Type to see how payments are made to this particular payee.
When will an authorized payment be debited from my account?If the payee is being paid with either a paper check or an electronic payment, the amount of the payment will be deducted from your account within 2 business days of the payment processing date. To minimize user fees, we strongly suggest that you not schedule a payment unless the funds are already in the selected checking account.
How do I cancel a pending payment?
Yes, just click the Cancel link in the Pending Payments section on the Make Payments page.
Can I cancel a payment that has already been processed?
That depends on the form of the payment. If the payment was made electronically, it is not possible to cancel it after processing has taken place. If the payment was made by check, a stop payment order can be submitted. There is a $25 fee for this service. Can I pay bills with my credit card?
No, the program only accepts payments from checking accounts.
Can I pay a person or business if I don't have an account number?
Yes, you don't need an account number to make a payment.
Who has access to my personal information?
You are the only person who can authorize payments to be issued by us against your account. Our representatives access your account information on a need-to-know basis and only with your approval.
