Est\u00e1 en su nombre.\u00a0 <span class=\"bold\">ESTAFA<\/span> Representa la confianza. Los estadounidenses suelen ser serviciales y amables, justo el tipo de personas que buscan los estafadores. Quiz\u00e1s sea hora de ser m\u00e1s precavidos con las personas que no conocemos.<\/p>\n<p>Cualquiera puede ser v\u00edctima de una estafa. En febrero de 2024, Charlotte Cowles, columnista de finanzas personales del peri\u00f3dico The Daily Mail, fue v\u00edctima de una estafa. <em>Revista Nueva York<\/em>, admiti\u00f3 valientemente que hab\u00eda sido estafada por $50,000 por un estafador que se aprovech\u00f3 de su miedo. Si <span class=\"underline\">ella<\/span> Todos podemos ser enga\u00f1ados, somos vulnerables. Es fundamental mantenerse informado y alerta constantemente.<\/p>\n<p>La siguiente lista le ayudar\u00e1 a evaluar posibles interacciones fraudulentas. Si responde S\u00cd a alguna de estas preguntas, es una clara se\u00f1al de alerta que indica que podr\u00eda ser un objetivo potencial.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bfRecibiste un cheque por alg\u00fan art\u00edculo que vendiste por Internet, como un coche, un barco, joyas, etc.?\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bfEl importe del cheque es superior al precio de venta del art\u00edculo?<\/li>\n<li>\u00bfRecibiste el cheque a trav\u00e9s de un servicio de mensajer\u00eda urgente?<\/li>\n<li>\u00bfEl cheque est\u00e1 girado contra una cuenta diferente a la de la persona que compra el art\u00edculo?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\u00bfRespondiste a un correo electr\u00f3nico o mensaje de texto solicit\u00e1ndote que confirmaras, actualizaras o proporcionaras la informaci\u00f3n de tu cuenta?<\/li>\n<li>\u00bfTe han dicho alguna vez que has ganado una loter\u00eda en la que no recuerdas haber participado?<\/li>\n<li>\u00bfLe han indicado que transfiera, env\u00ede o remita dinero lo antes posible a una gran ciudad de Estados Unidos o a otro pa\u00eds?<\/li>\n<li>\u00bfLe han pedido alguna vez que pague dinero para recibir un dep\u00f3sito importante en efectivo procedente de otro pa\u00eds?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Si estas preguntas le generan inquietud, comun\u00edquese de inmediato con nuestro Departamento de Fraude.
