Existen de muchas variantes, pero funcionan de la misma manera: un estafador se hace pasar por alguien de tu confianza para convencerte de que le env\u00edes dinero.<\/p>\n<p>Tal vez hayas o\u00eddo hablar de la estafa del nieto. Como muchos intentos de fraude, este suele ocurrir a altas horas de la noche o durante el fin de semana.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recibes una llamada de alguien que se hace pasar por tu nieto o nieta. Te dicen que est\u00e1n en el extranjero, en un gran aprieto y que por favor les ayudes envi\u00e1ndoles dinero para la fianza o el rescate. \u00a1Y no se lo digas a mam\u00e1 y pap\u00e1!<\/li>\n<li>El impostor puede hacer que la historia suene bien porque sabe c\u00f3mo te llama tu nieto\/a y puede identificar correctamente a otros miembros de la familia. Tiene que ser tu nieto\/a, \u00bfverdad?<\/li>\n<li>\u00a1Error! El estafador ha estudiado las cuentas de redes sociales y ha averiguado esos detalles. Con la tecnolog\u00eda actual, puede imitar f\u00e1cilmente la voz de tu familiar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Esto es lo que debes hacer en estas situaciones.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Primero, resista la tentaci\u00f3n de enviar dinero inmediatamente. Cuelgue.<\/li>\n<li>Luego, llama o env\u00eda un mensaje al familiar que supuestamente te llam\u00f3. Usa el n\u00famero que tienes guardado, NO el n\u00famero desde el que te llamaron. Habla con \u00e9l sobre la situaci\u00f3n y decide si crees que es necesario tomar medidas.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Si crees que enviar dinero es lo correcto, aseg\u00farate de hacer una transferencia bancaria o enviar un cheque de caja por correo. Estos m\u00e9todos son mucho m\u00e1s f\u00e1ciles de rastrear que las tarjetas de regalo, las tarjetas de d\u00e9bito recargables o las criptomonedas. De hecho, si te piden que uses tarjetas o criptomonedas, casi con seguridad se trata de una estafa.<\/p>\n<p>Mi familia ha creado una contrase\u00f1a imposible de adivinar, que solo nosotros conocemos.
