Q: What is Online Banking?
A: Online Banking is a tool that allows you
to use a personal computer with an Internet connection to conduct
your banking online.
Q: What can I do with Online Banking?
A: You can view account balances and transaction
history, transfer money, download transactions to a personal financial
manager and much more. You'll wonder how you ever lived without it!
Q: Is any of my personal information
stored in the Online Banking product?
A: Yes, the product stores your User ID, password
and user preferences. Beginning August 13, 2008, the ISP address
of your computer(s) will also be stored in order to provide you
with an additional level of internet security. If you keep a stock
portfolio, that information is also stored.
Q: How current is my banking information?
A: Your account information is updated every business day with new transactions that were posted to your account the previous business day. Deposits which are made in person are posted immediately.
Q: What accounts will I be able to
access through Online Banking?
A:You can access your checking, savings, investment
and loan accounts from the online banking service. This feature
is intended to give you as much access, security, and versatility
as possible.
Q: How much account information can I view at once?
A: The system will automatically show the current
month's transactions and information. However, by selecting User
Preferences, you can choose to view previous months. Or, you can
choose to view your account from the current date to same date of
the previous month.
Q: Can I view my account details in more than one way?
A: Yes, you can view your accounts by date, check number, payee, amount or balance in ascending or descending order.
Q: What formats can I download my transaction history in?
A:Internet Banking supports downloads to Quicken™, Microsoft Money™ or as a comma-delimited text file.
Q: When can I use the Online Banking
services?
A: With Online Banking, you have access to
your account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
Q: How many stocks can I track in my online portfolio?
A: Your online portfolio will track up to 20 stocks.
Q: How long can I be inactive before
being logged out of Online Banking?
A: The inactivity time out default is set for
15 minutes. However, you can change the timeout period in the User
Options area to 20, 30 or 40 minutes.
Q: What is required to use the Online
Banking service?
A: In order to use Online Banking you will
need a secure browser with one of the following programs: Internet
Explorer 5.6 or higher: Netscape Navigator 6.1 or higher; Foxfire
1.0; Safari 1.2.
Q: How do I access Online Banking?
A: First, look for the sign-in blocks in the
upper right hand corner of our homepage. First time users access
Online Banking by entering their member number and the last 4 digits
of the primary member's Social Security Number. (Exception - if
you have previously set up an Infoline Pin Number, please use this
number as your password.) If neither of these methods allow you
to log on, please contact us by telephone at 325-677-2274 or 800-677-6770
for assistance. You must be a member of Abilene Teachers FCU to
use our Internet Banking product.
Q: Can I create my own password that is easy for me to remember?
A: Yes, after you use your assigned password
to login for the first time, you will be prompted to choose your
own password.
Q: What happens if I forget or lose my password?
A: Just call us at 677-2274 or 800-677-6770
and we will reset your password within a few moments. You can also
advise us by e-mail that you have been locked out. Please send a
